Magnolia Gardens
BRIEF: Create a new dynamic logo and branding system for a local company and apply it to both screen and print based designs.
When deciding on a company to rebrand it was important to me to pick a business that’s mission impacted the community for the better. Magnolia Gift and Garden strives to create beautiful environments through their high quality array of plants, vegetables, and trees. The brand mark I created was inspired by their unique variety of products. Due to their plentiful selection three unique versions of their logo were developed to use for the various types of products they offered. Several packages and app screens were developed for the company after establishing the aesthetic, colors, and typefaces of their branding system.
Snap Shot App Design
BRIEF: Develop and build a mobile app that allows users to share and trade camera and photography equipment with others in the area.
Snap Shot was developed to help photographers, either by hobby or profession, save money by sharing their equipment in a safe way. Before building the app, I created a style guide with branding aesthetics, color combinations, and typefaces. Later in the process wireframes and prototypes were developed which greatly helped in building the final application. Throughout the ideation, designing and building my main focus was keeping the app clean and intuitive for the user.
